Viewing Session
During most sessions, I end up with hundreds of images. Literally hundreds. Afterwards, I take time to carefully cull the images to find the best smiles, expressions and details, the best composition and the ones that capture you in your most naturally beautiful moments. 2 weeks after your photo session, we'll do a virtual viewing session, where I show you the best of the best images, all your options of professional archival print products and you order your favorites. And don't worry; I'll hold your hand through the entire process to ensure you get exactly what you want.

Photo Delivery Day
The whole reason you get professional photos taken is so you can have incredible images of the ones you love plastered on your walls, isn't it? Your beautiful photos and albums will arrive at your door 3-6 weeks after your viewing session. You get to hang them up, spread them out on the coffee table and invite your family and friends over to share these beautiful memories with them!

Getting ready for your senior year of high school is such an exciting time in your life! During your one hour senior session, we’ll take time to celebrate what this season means in a way that is unique to you. Whether that means an urban location, a favorite spot in your neighborhood or somewhere else that shows off the beauty of where you grew up, we’ll have a blast capturing images that are authentic to you. You can even bring a couple clothing changes and any props that reflect something special about this time in your life.

Senior Sessions

While you can take such fabulous photos with your phones, and I truly am thankful for that, they are simply not the same. By hiring a professional, you get to just be you and enjoy your family while leaving all the thinking about photos and composition up to me. Plus, if you're like most families, there is often one of you who takes most of the photos and rarely ends up IN them.
I love babies at just about any age but there is something special about the first 10 days that make photos particularly sweet. Your little one will never be this small and precious again, nor will he or she sleep this well! As a photographer, I have noticed that by day 10 or 11, the type of photos I am able to capture, changes quite a bit.
It doesn't, and here's why: My goal is to not only capture beautiful moments in your family, but to help those images be displayed in the very best way in your home so you can cherish this season for years to come. Because I believe so strongly in the power of printed images, I split my sessions up into two separate payments, one for the session itself and one for the professional archival quality prints and print products you decide to order.
You be you! Choose clothes that you love and think you look good in and I think you’ll be happy with your images! Skip clothing with crazy patterns and a lot of words and graphics, especially if there is a group of you. It’s best to choose clothes for your family that coordinate but, please, for the love of all that is good and right, don’t get too matchy! Let me know if you need me to send you some ideas.
Relax! It’s ok if they don’t smile. I want you to remember your kids as they are, which is as the incredible and perfectly imperfect humans they are. The natural shots always end up as favorites anyway! Please try to enjoy yourself and leave the posing and kid-wrangling up to me. That’s what you’re paying for! And pretty please with sugar on top, save the gum and sweets as an incentive for after we’re done!
